Lessons at Klahaya
Little steps. Big summer confidence.
From first splashes to longer rallies, lessons at Klahaya help swimmers and tennis players build skills, find confidence, and enjoy their time at the club.
Swim lessons
Build comfort in the water and develop swimming skills one level at a time. Group lessons range from introductory water skills to stroke work for swim team members.
Tennis lessons
Learn the basics, build a consistent rally, or sharpen your game. Our youth program groups players by skill, with playful introductions for our youngest Frogs.
Private lessons
Make time for individual goals with focused swim or tennis instruction. Private and small-group lessons are available to club members through Klahaya instructors.
2026 group lesson fees
Current members: $70 plus tax per session.
Waitlisted nonmembers — group swim lessons: $100 plus tax per session.
Check the relevant program and registration information before enrolling. Private lesson rates are listed separately.
How registration works
Current members
Lesson registration is handled via the member portal or member app. We do our best to provide enough sessions and time slots to group families together, but can't promise specific availability. Check the app for the latest details.
Waitlisted families
Families on the membership waitlist may register for remaining group swim lesson spaces beginning one week before a session starts. The first session often fills quickly; later sessions may offer more availability. Private lessons are not available to waitlisted nonmembers.
Staying with your young swimmer or player
Children younger than eight must have a responsible adult supervising them while they are at the club, including during lessons, practices, meets, and matches.
Registration questions
Can someone register for my family?
Yes. For in-person registration, a proxy must be older than 16 and take your family’s assigned place in line. Online registration can be handled by any adult account on your membership.
Can I call ahead to check for an opening?
The app or member portal website is the best place to check for up-to-date availability. If sessions are full, we do allow waitlist signups so if someone cancels you can fill the availability.
